Job Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Skilled Nursing Facility with ER

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday 10:30 AM - 9:00 PM, Friday 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform CT scans and X-rays for outpatients, inpatients, and occasional ER patients

- Operate GE Lightspeed 16 and GE Optima 660 equipment

- Conduct portable X-rays in the ER when required

- Handle 10-25 scans per shift, maintaining efficiency and quality

- Utilize Paragon EMR and Change Healthcare McKesson PACS systems

- Collaborate with a team of 2-3 X-Ray and CT Techs throughout the shift

- Adapt to a fast-paced work environment

- Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures

- Maintain accurate and timely documentation

- Adhere to all facility policies and radiation safety protocols


Requirements:

- ARRT (CT) certification

- Valid California license

- BLS certification

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent patient care and communication skills
