Job Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Location: New York

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule:  12-hour shifts for 3 days per week (7:30am-7:30pm or 9am-9pm) with rotating weekends, and occasional night shifts/call coverage

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Conduct planned CT scans and handle emergency cases in the radiology department

- Perform approximately 15-20 scans per shift, primarily for adult patients, with varying ER cases

- Float to the ER for CT scans during night shifts as needed

- Operate Phillips GE Scanner and other related equipment

- Utilize CPSI and Fuji PAX electronic medical record systems

- Work independently and collaboratively within a team of 5 technicians

- Adapt to varying patient loads between weekday and weekend shifts

- Maintain high standards of patient care and professionalism

Requirements:

- ARRT(R)(CT) certification

- BLS certification

- IV certification preferred

- Sufficient experience to work independently

- Ability to handle a diverse range of CT procedures

- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, weekends, and on-call hours
