CT Technologist – Texas

Job Description

Job Title: CT Technologist

Job Location: Texas

Type of Facility: Hospital with Cat Scan Unit

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 12 hour night shifts (7 PM - 7 AM) for 3-4 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform comprehensive diagnostic and interventional CT scans, including cardiac imaging

- Execute trauma and stroke protocols

- Operate GE CT scanners (64 slice VCT, 16 slice Brightspeed, and 16 slice Optima)

- Utilize Meditech RIS and McKesson PACS systems

- Conduct venipuncture procedures

- Handle a diverse patient mix

- Manage approximately 2600 patients per month in the unit

- Collaborate with a team of CT technologists across shifts

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain patient care standards

- Ensure accurate and timely documentation of procedures

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of CT Tech experience

- ARRT(R)(CT) certification

- Texas GMRT license

- Current BLS certification

- Acute care and Trauma CT experience

- Proficiency in venipuncture
