Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Job Location: Indiana
Type of Facility: Dental Clinic
Length of Assignment: 26 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 7:30a - 5p and other similar shifts for 2-4 days per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleanings, scaling and root planing (SRP)
- Conduct patient education and address concerns
- Utilize advanced technology including lasers, iTero scanners, and in-house lab equipment
- Take x-rays and intraoral images
- Perform sealants and preventive resin restorations (PRRs)
- Assist with same-day treatments as needed
- Potentially perform accelerated hygiene (seeing 12-14 patients per day)
- Possibly float to a secondary location 30 minutes away if needed
Requirements:
- Valid Indiana Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- Experience with or willingness to learn laser therapy and nitrous oxide administration
- Local anesthetic certification preferred
- Ability to work in an accelerated hygiene model (preferred)
- Flexibility to work with or without an assistant
