Job Description

Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Location: Maine

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Early January

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage own patient schedule, seeing 8-9 patients per day

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients of all ages

- Perform dental cleanings, examinations, and preventive treatments

- Utilize digital x-ray equipment and 3D scanner (on-site training provided)

- Set up and tear down operatory between patients

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records using Dentrix EMR system

- Collaborate with the dental team, including 1 dentist, 2 hygienists, and 1 dental assistant

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices

Requirements:

- Active RDH license

- X-ray license

- 1-2 years of experience preferred (new graduates considered)

- Flexibility to adapt to varying patient needs and clinic protocols
