Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Job Location: Michigan
Type of Facility: Rural Dental Clinic
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 8:30a - 4p and other similar shifts from Mondays - Thursdays
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and oral hygiene procedures for 6-8 patients per day
- Administer injections if capable and required
- Conduct patient assessments and screenings
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and preventive care
- Perform sterilization of dental instruments and equipment
- Utilize Dentrix EMR system for patient record management
- Assist in various dental procedures as needed
- Collaborate with dentists and other dental staff
- Adapt to the needs of a rural dental clinic setting
- Treat patients ranging from pediatric to adult
Requirements:
- Active Michigan RDH license
- Current CPR certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Dental Hygienist
- Proficiency with Dentrix EMR system (preferred)
