Job Description

Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Location: Minnesota

Type of Facility: Rural Health Center

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and x-rays

- Assist with periodontal treatments, including SRP (Scaling and Root Planing)

- Maintain operatory cleanliness and ensure proper stocking of supplies

- Work closely with dentists to ensure proper patient care

- Participate in community outreach events and engagement activities

- Utilize EMR systems including Athena and Dexis for x-rays

- Adapt to new technologies such as Overjet AI for radiology

- Meet regularly with site manager

- Assist with sterilization procedures

- Treat patients of all ages, with an average of 8-10 patients per day

Requirements:

- Minnesota RDH license

- BLS certification

- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
