Job Description

Job Title: Dental Hygienist

Job Location: Minnesota

Type of Facility: Rural Health Center

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 7:30a - 5p or 8a - 5:30p shifts from Mondays - Thursdays

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive dental hygiene care to patients of all ages

- Perform routine dental cleanings, prophylaxis, and x-rays

- Assist with periodontal treatments, including SRP (Scaling and Root Planing)

- Utilize Athena EMR and Dexis for x-rays

- Maintain a patient load of 8-10 patients per day, with 60-minute minimum appointments

- Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to ensure proper patient care

- Assist with sterilization procedures and maintain operatory cleanliness and stock

- Participate in regular meetings with site manager

- Engage in community outreach events and programs

- Adapt to new technologies, including the implementation of Overjet AI for radiology

Requirements:

- Valid Minnesota Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) License

- BLS Certification

- Minimum 3 years of experience preferred
