Job Description
Job Title: Dental Hygienist
Job Location: Pennsylvania
Type of Facility: Dental Clinic
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday - Wednesday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform dental cleanings and scaling and root planning (SRP) procedures
- Utilize cavitron/piezon and x-ray equipment
- Administer local anesthesia as needed
- Assist in comprehensive dental care, focusing on stabilizing underlying issues
- Work with patients primarily aged 30-80, with few pediatric patients
- Operate Dentrix Ascend EMR system
- Maintain a patient load of approximately 6 patients per day
- Collaborate with the dentist in a single-provider practice
- Familiarity with dental sleep medicine is a plus
Requirements:
- Active Pennsylvania Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license
- X-ray and local anesthesia certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
