Job Description

Job Title: Echo Tech

Job Location: Georgia

Type of Facility: Mobile Echo Lab

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 5 x 8-hour shifts (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM) or 4 x 10-hour shifts, plus potential on-call rotation


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform 2D, M-mode, and Doppler echocardiograms (pulsed wave, continuous wave, and color flow)

- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images of the heart's chambers, valves, and vessels

- Take precise measurements of cardiac structures and blood flow

- Utilize thorough understanding of heart structure, function, diseases, and abnormalities

- Recognize subtle abnormalities with keen attention to detail

- Communicate effectively with other healthcare professionals

- Operate GE equipment and use Meditech and GE CCW EMR systems

- Assist with on-call rotation as needed


Requirements:

- ARDMS (RDCS) or CCI (RCS) certification

- BLS certification

- Minimum 1 year of experience

- Proficiency in echocardiogram techniques and interpretation

- Ability to work in a mobile environment

- Advanced skill in IV access for LV Contrast studies (preferred but not required)
