Job Description
Job Title: Echo Tech
Job Location: Texas
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Early February
Work Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 10-hour days (7:00 AM - 5:00 PM), on-call every other weekend
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms
- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms
- Operate Philips, GE, and Siemens Echo machines
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for documentation
- Collaborate with a team of two other echo technicians
- Provide on-call coverage every other weekend and varying weekdays
Requirements:
- ARDMS or CCI Registry certification
- Current BCLS certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Active TX state license
- Proficiency in transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography
- Ability to work flexible schedules including on-call rotations
