Job Description

Job Title: Echo Tech

Job Location: Utah

Type of Facility: Medical Center with Sonography Department

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE)

- Conduct treadmill stress echocardiograms and dobutamine stress echocardiograms

- Assist with transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE)

- Complete full echo reports within 1 hour

- Utilize GE E95 equipment for cardiac imaging

- Use EPIC EMR system for patient records and reporting

- Work collaboratively within a team of 7 Echo Techs, 1-2 RNs, 1 CV Technician, and 1 Echo Coordinator

- Participate in on-call rotation (1 weekend per month)

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience in cardiac sonography

- Active Utah state license

- RDCS or RCS certification

- BLS certification

- Proficiency in TTE, stress echo, and TEE procedures
