Job Description

Job Title: EEG Technologist

Job Location: Oregon

Type of Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 26 weeks (6 months)

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 5:00 PM (Five 8-hour shifts or Four 10-hour shifts)


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform electroencephalographic (EEG) tests and other neurodiagnostic procedures

- Set up heart monitors and home sleep tests

- Handle all neurodiagnostic cases independently

- Work across various departments including Emergency, Med-Surg, ICU, and Family Birthing Center

- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation

- Operate new Nihon Koden 550 and 330 equipment

- Manage approximately 10-12 patients per shift

- Provide care for patients of all ages, with a focus on neonatal care

- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff


Requirements:

- R. EEG T credential certification by ABRET

- Graduate of an accredited Neurodiagnostic program (CAAHEP or ASET)

- Minimum 2 years experience in critical access hospitals with neonatal care focus

- Current BLS certification from AHA

- Active Oregon state license
