Job Description
Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse (ER)
Job Location: California
Type of Facility: Level 4 Trauma Center
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 7 AM - 7 PM, 36 hours per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide emergency nursing care to patients of all ages, from pediatric to geriatric
- Work collaboratively with the ED team, including MICN Charge nurse, other RNs, and physicians
- Manage a diverse range of emergency cases in an 8-bed ED
- Participate in even patient distribution, typically handling 50-70 patients per day
- Utilize Paragon EMR system for patient documentation
- Adapt to a dynamic environment with varied patient needs
Requirements:
- Active California RN license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (TNCC preferred)
- Comfort working in a fast-paced emergency department
