Job Description
Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse (ER)
Job Location: Missouri
Type of Facility: 200-bed Hospital with 25-bed Emergency Room
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM night shifts for 3 nights per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality patient care in a 25-bed Emergency Room setting
- Manage a patient ratio of typically 1:4, with flexibility to handle up to 1:5 during busy periods
- Utilize Epic EMR system for patient documentation
- Demonstrate proficiency in emergency nursing procedures and protocols
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams
- Adapt to the dynamic nature of a rural ER environment
- Ensure compliance with all hospital policies and procedures
- Participate in any required training or orientation programs
Requirements:
- Current Compact RN license with Missouri endorsement
- Minimum of 1 year of Emergency Department experience
- ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to work night shifts
