Job Description

Job Title: Emergency Room Nurse

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 5 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Sunday-Tuesday, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM (3 12-hour night shifts)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide emergency nursing care in an 8-bed ER

- Assess, triage, and treat patients with various emergency conditions

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation

- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

- Monitor patient conditions and report changes to physicians

- Assist with procedures and diagnostic tests

- Educate patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions

Requirements:

- Current Washington State RN license

- Minimum 2 years of ED nursing experience preferred

- BLS, PALS, and ACLS certifications required (TNCC preferred)

- Strong clinical skills in emergency care
