Job Description

Job Title: Endoscopy Nurse 

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care in the Gastroenterology (GI) unit

- Assist with endoscopic procedures

- Administer and monitor nurse sedation

- Maintain a 1:1 patient ratio

- Utilize Epic EMR system

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams

- Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures

- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control guidelines

- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records

Requirements:

- Active Washington State RN license

- ACLS and BLS certifications

- Minimum of 2 years of endoscopy experience

- Experience with nurse sedation

- Ability to work independently in a critical access hospital setting
