Job Description

Job Title: First Assist Nurse

Job Location: Missouri

Type of Facility: Community Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Five 8-hour shifts per week with on-call duties

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist in a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on C-Sections and tubal removals/ligations

- Support orthopedic surgeries, including knee and hip procedures

- Participate in general surgical cases as needed

- Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate on-call duties

- Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to ensure optimal patient care

- Adhere to all hospital policies and safety protocols

Requirements:

- At least 1 year of experience as a Surgical First Assistant

- Previous OR experience, particularly with C-Sections and orthopedic procedures

- Current certifications as required for the role
