Job Description

Job Title: Histotechnologist

Job Location: Utah

Type of Facility: Medical Laboratory

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 4 am - 12 pm shifts

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform embedding, microtomy, and gross dissection of tissue samples

- Conduct special stains and immunostains

- Operate tissue processing equipment

- Handle tissue samples and laboratory materials with precision and care

- Utilize laboratory equipment including embedder and microtome

- Assist in grossing procedures as needed

- Lift up to 25 lbs when required

- Maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency in all laboratory procedures

- Collaborate with other laboratory staff to ensure smooth operations

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of Histology experience

- ASCP certification required

- Proficiency in embedding, microtomy, gross dissection, special stains, and immunostains
