Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR) – Florida

Job Description

Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Job Location: Florida

Type of Facility: Level 1 Trauma Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early January

Work Schedule: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform full scope of Interventional Radiology procedures, including:

-Structural heart procedures (TAVR, MitraClip)

 - Carotid stenting

 - Peripheral arterial cases

 - Lumbar punctures

- Operate GE Imaging equipment

- Utilize MacLab and Meditech EMR systems

- Work collaboratively with 1-2 RNs and 1-2 Techs per case, depending on complexity

- Participate in monthly call shifts

- Respond to call-ins within 30 minutes

- Attend daily huddle calls

Requirements:

- 1+ years of IR Tech experience

- Active Florida state license

- RN, ACLS, and BLS certifications
