Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist (IR)

Job Location: Texas

Type of Facility: Medical Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early April

Work Schedule: Weekdays, 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Assist in a wide range of interventional radiology procedures, including:

 - Neuro: Stroke treatment, aneurysm coiling, tumor embolization, diagnostic cerebral angiograms

 - Body: Line placements, embolizations, thrombectomies, kyphoplasty, cryoablations

 - Other: G-tube placements, nephrostomy tube placements, angiograms, venograms, AVF declots

- Operate Phillips imaging equipment

- Ensure proper patient positioning and image quality

- Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR system

- Collaborate with a team of 7 staff members

- Provide patient care and education regarding IR procedures

- Assist in equipment maintenance and quality control

- Adapt to the specific needs of each procedure and patient

Requirements:

- Active Texas state license

- ARRT certification

- ACLS and BLS certifications

- Experience in Interventional Radiology (Neuro IR experience preferred, but willing to train)
