Job Title: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Nurse

Job Location: Alaska

Type of Facility: Critical Access Facility

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Mid March

Work Schedule: 12 hour shifts (7a - 7p) for 3 days per week with some occasional call coverage

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Follow patients through the entire birthing process

- Ability to start IVs on newborns

- Float to MedSurg and Behavioral Health units when there are no OB patients

- Work collaboratively with other OB RNs and midwives

- Provide care for pediatric to adult patients

- Maintain patient ratios of 3:1 for MedSurg and 1:1 for OB

- Utilize Epic EMR system

- Participate in on-call rotation

Requirements:

- Minimum 1 year of experience

- BLS and AWHON certifications required

- NRP, ACLS, PALS, and STABLE certifications preferred

- Active Alaska nursing license
