Job Description

Job Title: Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum Nurse

Job Location: Oregon

Type of Facility: 50-Bed Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Mid February

Work Schedule: Nights, 5:45 PM - 6:15 AM, for 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide care for patients in Labor and Delivery, OB, and Postpartum units

- Float to Medical-Surgical unit when needed

- Manage antipartum and postpartum care

- Assist in approximately 50 deliveries during the assignment

- Start IVs and administer medications

- Work collaboratively with a team of 4 nurses per shift

- Utilize Cerner EMR system

- Provide care for low acuity and swing bed patients in Medical-Surgical unit

- Adapt to a low patient volume environment

Requirements:

- 2+ years of LDRP experience

- Current Oregon RN license

- NRP, American Fetal Heart Monitoring, ACLS, and BLS certifications

- STABLE certification (preferred)
