Job Description
Job Title: Mammogram Technologist
Job Location: Alaska
Type of Facility: Healthcare Facility with Mammography Department
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform screening and diagnostic mammography procedures
- Conduct stereotactic guided wire localizations and biopsies
- Operate Hologic Selenia Dimensions and Affirm Stereotactic equipment
- Utilize Epic EMR, Volpara, and McKesson PACS systems
- Assist with breast positioning for MRI when needed
- Work alongside 1 Radiologist and 1 Ultrasound Technician
- Ensure patient safety, comfort, and privacy during all procedures
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
Requirements:
- ARRT (M) certification
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years mammography experience
- 8 hours of Tomosynthesis training
