Job Description

Job Title: Mammogram Technologist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Multi-location Medical Center 

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform mammography screenings, averaging 20-25 per day

- Operate Selenia Lorad and Selenia Dimensions equipment

- Demonstrate excellent positioning skills, adhering to high facility standards

- Conduct needle localizations and stereotactic procedures

- Perform venipuncture as needed

- Utilize Epic EMR system

- Operate portable mammography machine when required

- Potentially float between locations

- Work collaboratively as part of a team

- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care


Requirements:

- ARRT Mammography and CRT Mammography certifications

- Valid California license

- Venipuncture certification

- Fluoroscopy certification

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mammography

- Experience with RFIDs, needle localizations, and stereotactic procedures
