Job Description

Job Title: Mammogram Technologist

Job Location: Illinois

Type of Facility: Breast Care Center

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and stereotactic breast biopsies

- Conduct needle localizations

- Assist in sterile procedures for ultrasound-guided breast biopsies (preferred)

- Operate 3D Hologic Mammography systems

- Manage up to 12 patients per day

- Utilize Cerner EMR, GE PACS, and OnePacs reporting system

- Collaborate with on-site radiologists and other imaging staff

Requirements:

- Current Illinois state license

- ARRT (M), IEMA, and BLS certifications

- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Mammography Technologist

- Experience with 3D mammography preferred

- Proficiency in screening mammograms, diagnostic mammograms, and stereotactic breast biopsies
