Job Description

Job Title: Mammogram Technologist

Job Location: Kansas

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Mid August

Work Schedule: 8 hour shifts from Mondays - Fridays


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform mammography exams, averaging 2-4 scans per day

- Operate Toshiba Prime CT equipment

- Collaborate with a team of 3-4 other technologists in the Radiology department

- Utilize Cerner EMR for documentation and patient management

- Ensure patient comfort and safety during procedures

- Maintain accurate records and assist with departmental operations

- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection standards

- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability in a critical access hospital environment


Requirements:

- Kansas licensed Radiologic Technologist with mammography certification

- ARRT certification

- Minimum of 2 years experience

- Proficiency with Toshiba Prime CT equipment

- Experience with Cerner EMR system

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
