Job Description

Job Title: Mammogram Technologist 

Job Location: Pennsylvania

Type of Facility: Multi-campus Healthcare System

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Oversee mammography departments across multiple campuses

- Manage and adjust schedules for a team of 16 mammography technicians

- Ensure compliance with MQSA and ACR requirements

- Provide leadership and guidance in a unionized environment

- Introduce new procedures and staff as needed

- Work weekends as required

- Maintain high standards of patient care and departmental efficiency

- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams across various locations

- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation and management tasks

- Oversee quality control and maintenance of mammography equipment

Requirements:

- ARRT certification and mammography certification

- Minimum 3 years experience in mammography

- Proven managerial and leadership experience

- Strong knowledge of MQSA and ACR requirements
