Job Description
Job Title: Mammogram Technologist
Job Location: Washington
Type of Facility: 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Mid May
Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) for 5 days per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate new 3D Hologic mammography system
- Perform mammography screenings and diagnostic examinations
- Assist in the startup and long-term development of the new mammography program
- Navigate ACR accreditation and MQSA compliance processes
- Ensure regulatory and quality standards are met
- Collaborate with the imaging team to establish efficient workflows
- Utilize Epic EMR system
- Contribute to patient education and comfort during procedures
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Participate in quality assurance activities
Requirements:
- Valid Washington state license
- ARRT certification in mammography
- BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience
- Experience with ACR accreditation and MQSA compliance preferred
- Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
