Job Description

Job Title: Medical Lab Scientist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Clinical Laboratory

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM shifts

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform various laboratory tests including hematology, coagulation, urinalysis, chemistry, and blood banking

- Operate various laboratory equipment

- Utilize Meditech EMR system for data entry and result reporting

- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all laboratory procedures

- Collaborate with other laboratory staff and healthcare professionals

- Participate in on-call rotation, potentially every other weekend

Requirements:

- Active California state License

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Medical Lab Scientist

- Blood Bank experience (limited or full, depending on previous experience)
