Medical Lab Technician – Missouri

Job Description

Job Title: Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT)

Job Location: Missouri

Type of Facility: District Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 12 hour night shifts for 3 nights per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures

- Conduct 5-10 blood draws per shift, proficient in phlebotomy

- Operate all laboratory benches

- Process and analyze blood and chemistry samples

- Utilize laboratory equipment including Vitros-chem, BA600 Siemens, ACL tops 350, XN550-Clinitech, and VA Gel

- Handle microbiology shipments

- Work in both laboratory and ER settings as needed

- Collaborate with the Lab Director and other healthcare professionals

Requirements:

- Associates or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology

- ASCP, AMT, or AAB certification

- Minimum 2 years of recent MLT experience

- Strong phlebotomy skills
