Job Description

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: 14-bed Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Thursday-Saturday, 7 AM - 7:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Float between various laboratory benches, including hematology, blood banking, chemistry, coagulation, and urinalysis

- Perform patient tests, handling 10-20 tests per shift

- Operate specialized equipment

- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and reporting

- Collaborate with the day shift MLT and other healthcare professionals

- Adhere to all safety and quality control protocols

- Adapt to the needs of a critical access hospital serving patients of all ages

Requirements:

- ASCP certification

- Minimum 2 years of experience with proficiency in all mentioned bench responsibilities
