Job Description

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Early April

Work Schedule: Tuesday-Thursday, 7 AM - 7:30 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Float between various benches, including Hematology, Blood Banking, Chemistry, Coagulation, and Urinalysis

- Perform laboratory tests for patients of all ages

- Handle 10-20 patient tests per shift

- Utilize Cerner EMR system

- Adapt to potential equipment changes

- Collaborate with other laboratory staff members

- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in all laboratory procedures

Requirements:

- 2+ years of experience with all bench responsibilities listed

- ASCP certification

- Flexibility to adapt to changing work environments
