Job Description

Job Title: Medical Lab Technician 

Job Location: Washington

Type of Facility: Critical Access Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 3 12-hour shifts per week, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform a variety of laboratory tests including chemical, microscopic, serologic, hematologic, parasitic, and bacteriologic tests

- Provide data for use in treatment and diagnosis of disease

- Utilize Epic EMR system

- Operate standard laboratory equipment

- Ensure accuracy and timeliness of test results

- Maintain laboratory safety and quality control standards

- Collaborate with healthcare team members

- Adapt to possible on-call shifts (one night potential)

- Handle potential overtime as needed

Requirements:

- ASCP certification

- Experience in a hospital laboratory setting

- Ability to work night shifts and handle potential on-call duties
