Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) – Arizona

Job Description

Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse

Job Location: Arizona

Type of Facility: IHS Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 12 hour day/night shifts for 3 days per week

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide inpatient care for a diverse patient population ranging from pediatrics to geriatrics

- Assist with COVID testing clinics or flu/immunization clinics as needed

- Float to other departments when required, performing tasks within your qualifications

- Utilize RPMS electronic medical record system

- Collaborate with a team of CNAs, NAs, and RNs

- Demonstrate flexibility with day or night shifts as needed

Requirements:

- 3 years of Med Surg experience

- Comfort level with pediatric patients

- Current Arizona RN license

- ACLS and BLS (AHA) certifications

- PALS certification preferred but not required
