Medical Surgical Nurse (MedSurg) – Wyoming

Job Description

Job Title: Medical Surgical Nurse

Job Location: Wyoming

Length of Assignment: 6 weeks with potential to extend

Start Date: Mid December

Work Schedule: Three 12-hour night shifts per week (7p-7a)

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide nursing care in the Emergency Department, with float duties to Medical/Surgical and Inpatient units as needed

- Handle acute care ED cases in a low-volume environment

- Assist in managing patient care across multiple units (ER, MS, Inpatient, ICU)

- Collaborate with physicians and case managers

- Adapt to varying patient needs across all age groups, primarily adults

- Participate in a team of 2 RNs per shift, covering multiple areas

Requirements:

- Active Wyoming or Compact State nursing license

- Critical Access Hospital experience (required)

- BLS and ACLS certifications

- Flexibility to float between ER, MS, and Inpatient units
