Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Location: Alaska
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 12 hour night shifts (8:00 PM - 8:30 AM) for 3 nights per week
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform a wide range of MRI procedures including MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, and defecography
- Conduct MRI scans for patients under anesthesia and those with pacemakers
- Operate GE Signa Artist 1.5T MRI equipment
- Utilize Epic EMR and McKesson PACS systems
- Work independently with a 1:1 patient ratio
- Collaborate with a team of 2 PRN staff and 1 cross-training technologist
- Contribute to the department as it recruits for an MRI lead and additional technologist
Requirements:
- ARRT (MR) certification
- BLS certification
- Alaska state license
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
