Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Location: Arizona
Type of Facility: Hospital with Mobile MRI Unit
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Late May
Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans on adult and geriatric patients, with occasional pediatric cases
- Handle scheduled appointments (approximately 8 per shift) and unscheduled scans for ER and inpatients
- Conduct various types of scans, including brain, stroke, and abdominal imaging
- Escort patients to and from the mobile MRI unit (3-5 minute walk from the hospital)
- Operate a GE 16x 1.5 Tesla MRI scanner independently
- Utilize RPMS EMR and PACS Vista Imaging systems for patient documentation and image management
- Ensure high-quality imaging and patient care
- Adapt to varying patient needs and emergency situations
Requirements:
- ARRT (MR) or ARMRIT certification
- Current Arizona state license
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist
- Ability to work independently
