Job Description

Job Title: Travel MRI Technologist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Mobile MRI Unit

Length of Assignment: 13-26 Weeks

Start Date: Mid January

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 PM - 12:00 AM


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Operate 1.5T Signa HDxt MRI scanner and Medrad injector in a mobile trailer setting

- Escort patients from the facility's registration desk to the MRI trailer

- Perform IV insertions and administer contrast as needed

- Conduct various MRI scans (excluding prostate and breast exams)

- Maintain a fast-paced workflow, seeing one patient every 30-45 minutes

- Ensure proper patient care and safety during MRI procedures


Requirements:

- Current California state MRI license

- CRT certification

- BLS certification

- IV certification

- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience, with active practice within the last 6 months

- Ability to work efficiently in a mobile MRI unit
