Job Description

Job Title: MRI Technologist

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Mobile MRI Unit (partnered with major medical center)

Length of Assignment: 12 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule

- Week 1: 4 days (2 x 12-hour shifts Mon-Fri, 2 x 10-hour shifts Sat-Sun)

- Week 2: 3 days (3 x 12-hour shifts Mon-Fri)

- Rotating schedule with another technologist


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Manage daily operations of the mobile MRI unit

- Perform 18-20 scans per shift on weekdays, 12-14 scans on weekends

- Review orders and ensure correct images are sent through the PACS system

- Communicate effectively with radiologists and participate in team meetings as needed

- Work alongside a tech aide who assists with patient screening and preparation

- Serve patients of all ages (no sedation cases)


Requirements:

- 5+ years of experience as an MRI Technologist

- ARRT (MR) certification

- CPR/BLS certification

- IV certification for California

- Valid California Radiologic Technologist license

- Ability to work independently and hit the ground running
