Job Description
Job Title: MRI Technologist
Job Location: Massachusetts
Type of Facility: 220-bed Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Wednesday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform MRI scans for both scheduled appointments and emergency cases from the ER
- Operate GE Voyager MRI equipment proficiently
- Utilize Meditech EMR system for patient documentation
- Manage a patient load of 8-10 patients per shift
- Work collaboratively with at least one other MRI technologist
- Adapt to varying patient needs, primarily focusing on adult patients
- Maintain a high level of patient care and safety in a low-acuity setting
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience
- ARRT or ARMRIT certification (MA license required for ARRT holders)
- Current BLS certification
