Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: California
Type of Facility: General Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Friday, 7am - 5pm
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Position patients for scanning procedures
- Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
- Perform documentation and quality control tasks
- Ensure safe disposal of radioactive waste
- Operate Siemens Symbia and GE LightSpeed equipment
- Handle an average of 10-12 patients per day, with potential for up to 15
- Utilize Cerner EMR system
- Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a high standard of patient care
Requirements:
- Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technology license
- NMTCB certification
- Current BLS certification
- Minimum of 5 years of experience preferred
- CT ARRT certification is preferred but not required
