Job Description
Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Job Location: Pennsylvania
Type of Facility: Hospital
Length of Assignment: 13 weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Operate as the sole technologist in the Nuclear Medicine department
- Open and manage the hot lab daily
- Design and perform nuclear medicine scans
- Administer IVs as needed
- Manage daily operations of the nuclear medicine department
- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation
- Operate Adac Phillips Vertex equipment
- Treat approximately 6 patients per day
- Collaborate with pool technologist on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays
Requirements:
- ARRT or CNMT certification
- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
- CPR and BLS certifications
- Experience with older nuclear medicine systems
