Job Description

Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Location: Texas

Type of Facility: Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM shifts


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Perform various nuclear medicine procedures including:

 - SPECT stress tests (Lexiscan, Dobutamine, and treadmill)

 - Bone scans

 - HIDA scans (with or without CCK)

 - Lung perfusion scans

 - Amyloid scans

 - Renal flow scans (with or without Lasix)

 - MUGA scans

 - In-111 WBC scans

 - GI bleed studies

 - Gastric emptying studies

- Operate GE Discovery/Xeleris and Case Machine equipment

- Utilize Meditech EMR system

- Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation protection guidelines

- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure quality patient care


Requirements:

- NMTCB, BCLS, and ARRT certifications

- Active Texas state license

- Minimum 2 years of experience in nuclear medicine technology

- Proficiency with GE nuclear medicine equipment
