Job Description

Job Title: Nurse Case Manager

Job Location: Alaska

Type of Facility: Indian Health Service (IHS)

Length of Assignment: 13 weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide leadership, supervision, training, and assistance to Certified Medical Assistants (CMA) and other Nurse Case Managers

- Work closely with healthcare providers to ensure full support

- Assist with triage, physical examinations, and medical interventions

- Ensure competency of staff under supervision

- Serve as backup Immunization Coordinator

- Support the use of Cerner EMR system

Requirements:

- 5 years of nursing experience

- 3 years of supervisory experience

- Some IHS experience

- Current BLS certification

- Active Alaska RN license
