Job Description

Job Title: Nurse Manager

Job Location: California

Type of Facility: Level 4 Trauma Center

Length of Assignment: 13-26 Weeks

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: 8a - 5p shifts from Mondays - Fridays

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Oversee patient care in an 8-bed Emergency Room

- Manage scheduling and budgeting for the ER department

- Supervise a team including MICN Charge nurse, 2 nurses, and a triage nurse

- Collaborate with LVN covering fast track and 24/7 physician coverage

- Handle patient population ranging from Pediatrics to Geriatrics

- Manage daily patient volume of 50-70 in the ED

- Report directly to the Chief Nursing Officer (CNO)

- Utilize Paragon EMR system

Requirements:

- Minimum 2 years of experience as a Nurse Manager

- Active California state nursing license

- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications
