Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Location: Florida

Type of Facility: Outpatient Orthopedic Clinic

Length of Assignment: 13-26 weeks 

Start Date: Immediately

Work Schedule: Monday-Thursday 7:30am-5pm, Friday 7:30am-12:30pm

Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide orthopedic outpatient occupational therapy services

- Conduct patient evaluations (1 hour) and treatments (45 minutes) based on physician orders

- Deliver 1:1 patient care for a caseload of 10-15 patients per day

- Perform manual therapy techniques, including dry needling

- Treat various orthopedic conditions, including post-operative care, sports injuries, and spine issues

- Work independently to execute treatment plans and manage patient schedules

- Utilize Athena EMR system for documentation

- Collaborate with a team of physicians specializing in orthopedics, sports medicine, and spine care

- Adapt to floating between clinic locations as needed (within 30-60 minute drive)

- Operate basic equipment such as treadmills and ellipticals

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment

- Adhere to all clinic policies and procedures

Requirements:

- Active Florida OT license

- BLS and CPR certifications

- Minimum 1 year of experience as a licensed OT 

- Strong background in orthopedic and outpatient care
