Job Description

Job Title: Occupational Therapist (OT)

Job Location: New York

Type of Facility: Acute Care Hospital

Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks

Start Date: Early March

Work Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 8am-4pm (One weekend day required)


Roles and Responsibilities:

- Provide occupational therapy services in an acute care setting

- Work in the outpatient hand center on Mondays (for OTs with hand therapy experience)

- Potentially float to inpatient units as needed

- Collaborate with a team of 4 OTs and several OTAs during weekdays

- Participate in weekend coverage with 1 OT and 1 OTA

- Utilize Epic EMR system for documentation

- Adapt to various patient needs in adult and geriatric populations


Requirements:

- 1+ years of occupational therapy experience

- Valid New York state OT license

- BLS certification

- Experience in hand therapy preferred but not required

- Flexibility to work in both outpatient and inpatient settings
