Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Location: North Carolina
Type of Facility: Pediatric Clinic
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Assess and document pediatric patients' functional status using clinical observations, caregiver reports, standardized testing, and occupational profiles
- Analyze information to address foundational deficits causing difficulties with skill development
- Provide Occupational Therapy sessions using current best practices
- Collaborate with families and caregivers in the clinic and community to support daily routines
- Adhere to frequency, duration, and appropriate treatment guidelines
- Address goals and provide treatment supporting sensory-motor, cognitive, psychological, self-help, fine and gross motor skills, play, and behavioral development
- Modify treatment goals as needed and document in a timely manner
- Document family/caregiver involvement and training
- Work collaboratively with various professionals, age groups, cultures, families, and socioeconomic groups
Requirements:
- Current North Carolina OT license
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as an Occupational Therapist
- Experience working with autistic pediatric patients preferred
- Flexibility to adapt to clinic expansion needs
