Job Description
Job Title: Occupational Therapist
Job Location: Texas
Type of Facility: Level 2 Trauma Facility
Length of Assignment: 13 Weeks
Start Date: Immediately
Work Schedule: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM shifts
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Perform ADL retraining
- Conduct strength, ROM, and coordination training
- Implement early mobility interventions
- Treat 8-12 patients per day
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team
- Participate in Multi-Disciplinary Rounds in ICU, neuro/trauma, ortho, and medical surgical units
- Utilize various therapy equipment including ADL training kitchen, splinting equipment, and adaptive equipment
- Document patient care using Meditech EMR system
Requirements:
- Texas OT License
- BLS Certification
- Minimum 1 year of experience
- Acute care experience preferred
